Ellen DeGeneres is Nick Jonas’ Landlord

Back in October 2015 Nick Jonas appeared on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres show’ where some interesting news was revealed. It was announced in conversation that Ellen is Nick’s landlord.

Nick said ‘I’m so nervous the whole time I’m there’ and worries about damaging the fixtures and fittings that Ellen left in the house such as sofas, rugs and tables.

However, Nick should not worry so much as Ellen told him ‘You’re a good tenant you pay rent on time’. Ellen clearly trusts Nick and he seems like a good tenant to have. And if he does damage anything Ellen jokingly assured Nick that the ‘healthy deposit’ she took from him would more than cover costs.

When asked if he has had any spills or ring marks on tables Nick replied that he didn’t think so and that ‘everyone that comes in my house uses a coaster’. This tenant clearly knows how to look after a house and keep it clean which is exactly what Ellen would want as a landlord.

It was also revealed that Nick has set up a small studio in one of the rooms which Ellen thinks is brilliant. Nick must have been glad to know that she was on board with the room change.

Ellen has released a new book called ‘Home’ which features the different houses she has bought and sold over the years. The house she rents to Nick is featured in the book which Nick was excited to see and said ‘you made me feel very cool’.

It is good to see that these two have a good landlord tenant relationship and friendship too.
