Most landlords do a great job of maintaining their rental properties and there is a vast choice of desireable flats and houses available for tenants.

However, in a few cases some flats/houses are less than desirable…they are shocking! Here are 8 of the worst rental properties.

1. Cupboard for Rent
We cannot believe someone actually put their cupboard up for rent. The cupboard in London was advertised at £40 a week and is an extremely small space with barely enough room for a bed.

2. Kitchen En-Suite
This tiny flat in France for rent at £169 per month, contains a combined bathroom and kitchen. For those who like to cook and bathe at once.

3. Tent Luxury
Some crafty house owners in America advertised their tent for rent, in their garden, for £458 per month!

4. School Bus Living
This school bus can be rented in Hawaii for £130 a month…we are unsure as to how it looks inside.

5. Tiny Attic
This attic for rent in Paddington, London costs £160 a month and is so small it can only just fit a bed into it.

6. 1 Room Flat
This flat in London, for rent at £730 a month, contains living area, kitchen and bedroom all in one room.

7. Garage for Rent
A clever idea for some extra cash, this garage for rent in Los Angeles costs $1000 a month.

8. Camper Van Dreaming
This camper van, for rent in Los Angeles at $600 a month, was advertised as having ‘amazing skyline views and your own private rooftop’.
