I have, in the last two months, come back into the industry having sold my share in my last business in 2007. I have opened a small office in a little town in west Wales where there are no other agents. My initial and shocked impression is how much the industry has changed in that time. My main area of expertise, since the mid 80's, is in sales but the huge demand for letting/renting has left me no option but to offer this as the prime service, especially as you can now barely give a house away.

"In the moment of the total disaster that happened with a rental of my property in the beginning of 2014 when we become victims of property fraud, I've received an invaluable piece of advice from Richard, that in the future proceedings saved me tens of thousand pounds in the legal costs in the situation when we thought there was no way to resolve the situation without losing the property.
If I wouldn't get an advice from Richard, who spent with me almost two hours on the phone, going through every detail, I would be closed to the bankruptcy due to the complications in the possession proceedings caused by inadequate steps taken by the first solicitor who was instructed on the possession proceeding case and unfortunately given us wrong advice as well as started wrong legal proceedings. As a result of legal mistakes, we lost the first possession case, had to pay excruciating legal expenses and had to start proceedings again from the scratch.
It took us a year to get the possession back and another two years to challenge the legal bill and win the case for the professional negligence, as well as eliminate legal liability for the lost possession case.
