PIMS Renters Right Compliant - ENDING a Tenancy

The face of being a Landlord or Letting Agent has changed from the 1st May.

In many respects you are now agreeing to rent to a tenants forever and if the Tenants will not leave of their own accord - the rules are simple.

So what shall be the future challenges if the Tenant is not - co operative

  • PART SURRENDER Where one party wishes to leave and other refuses to leave - this will be tricky - see section Tenants leaving / assignment
  • You can negotiate full surrender - Negotiating a surrender - you will have to affirm their rights see PIMS Guide
