In the last few days Oadby and Winston council uploaded a landlords’ help appeal for housing titled ‘Landlords Wanted’ which says: “We are looking to work with Oadby & Wigston landlords to provide accommodation for local families, couples and singles who have been made homeless through no fault of their own.”

The council also says: “We want to work with you to provide accommodation for local families, couples, and singles who have been made homeless through no fault of their own. Whether you have inherited or acquired a second home, or are an investor we will consider all types of properties.

And lists how landlords will benefit from working with the council
  • Our extensive property management experience
  • Guaranteed rent payments in advance
  • Long-term lease security with no worries about loss of income if the home is empty
  • Regular checks to ensure your property is being taken care of
  • Knowing you are helping those that have become homeless through no fault of their own.”
The council finishes by saying: “If you would like to learn more about how we can work together and the benefits we can offer, including guaranteed rent payments, lease security and regular checks to the property please reach out to us.”
