The MPs of the all-party Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee is researching housing disabled people and its surrounding issues.
The committee is looking into how the government, developers and local councils can make sure disabled people are able to access suitable housing for their needs and the committee asks interested parties to use its online survey for feedback.
A statement says: “We are interested in hearing your experience of finding or adapting suitable accessible housing. We are also interested in hearing your views of what more could be done to improve housing provision for disabled people. The responses to this survey will inform the Committee’s final Report. The survey is anonymous and respondents are discouraged from sharing identifying details.”
The Committee will also be setting up what it calls “engagement events” for selected parties to share their experiences and those interested in taking part can leave contact details at the end of the survey.
The survey takes around eight minutes closes at 5pm on February 15th and
