Pete Burns, the former front man for “Dead or Alive” pop bank of the 80’s, has been evicted from his London flat after building up rent arrears of more than £30,000.
The band was famous for their No. 1 hit “You Spin Me Round” but Burns is now remembered for his distinct disfigurement suffered through appallingly bad plastic surgery, as seen in his appearance in 2006’s Celebrity Big Brother in. He received £450,000 for the bungled surgery in 2009 out of court.
A property eviction firm arrived at the flat only to find that Burns was not present. The bailiffs duly carried out the repossession, after the landlord had gained a possession order from the courts.
The representative of the eviction company said that overall with the court costs, Burns owed £34,000 and said that due to Burn’s activities in the flat and the arrears that he owed, had caused the landlord to have a breakdown.
In the same day that the former pop star was evicted from the flat, he was also declared as a bankrupt.
