Only 20 Days to go before your existing Tenants MUST receive the Government Renters Rights Information Sheet
- Failure to comply before 29th May * can result in a fine of up to £7,000 per Tenant per Property. Treat this as a must-do compliance step, not an optional update. see PIMS Guidance
- The Renters Right Information Sheet is FREE and MUST only be the copy on the Government website NO OTHER source is permitted see link on PIMS
PIMS Recommend serving early * not 30th or 31st of May being Saturday and Sunday which are not serving days in law, prudent measures re safest.
Think of your Get out of Jail Card - Three years in the future your council send you a fine because the Tenant says they never received the Renter Right Information Sheet - Thats a £7,000 fine per a tenant per a property.
So protect yourself and your family - Serve it and don't leave to chance.
