Breach of Tenancy – Unauthorised Occupiers

Although it is acceptable to allow visitors to stay for short periods, only those named on the tenancy agreement should be living at the property and using it as their home. Your tenancy agreement specifically states your obligations in this respect and continued failure to remedy the situation will constitute a breach of tenancy. The problem here is that too many occupant may result in it being argued the property require a licence for HMO or planning
