New tenant wants to rent what next?

This may be the first time the individual has rented or they may be well versed with the renting process. The important thing is we define our expectation of them.
 
  The process from here:-
  1. We require a Holding fee from them. This demonstrates their commitment to proceeding with their stated intent of renting the property. People often yes only to withdraw later. We must issue the Tenant a receipt for the Holding fee Print Form
  2. You should continue to take phone numbers of prospective Tenants who contact you - just in case the intended Tenant does not proceed or fails the Tenant Credit Check  or Tenant referencing
  3. We require the Tenant complete the tenancy application form so we can proceed with the vetting process.
  4. We should provide the Tenant with a receipt for the Holding fee and Guidance notes as to how we proceed or NOT.
