Serving Landlord Notices Delivery Days
The rules regarding the delivery times for the service of notices changed in January 2009, when the concept of business days came into being. This means Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays are NOT classed as delivery days. To be classed as having been delivered on the same day, the notice must be delivered before 4.30pm, if after this time the notice is classed as being the next business day.
