Section 21 Notice the Basics

Prior to service of the Section 21 Notice a Landlord must be eligible to use this process, having an AST, Deposit Protected, licences etc see entitlement to use this process

How to issue a valid Section 21 Notice
The Section 21 Notice to be served is determined by whether or not it is served before or after the last day of the Tenancy Agreement
You need a minimum of three copies of the Section 21 Notice, yours, each named tenant and the courts.

Applying for possession rules
Should the Tenant fail to vacate following the expiry of the Section 21 Notice means that the Landlord is ELIGIBLE to apply for a Possession Order.
