Most Landlords do not appreciate the headache of the ever-changing regulations which they must adhere to. These regulations exist to protect the Tenant and there are often severe penalties for non-compliance - therefore it’s in your best interests to do things correctly for this is easier than tidying up the mess afterwards and dealing with the consequences.
